Privacy.

Who. This site is run by me, Achint Satsangi, in Oslo, Norway. I'm responsible for the data it collects. Contact: achint.satsangi@gmail.com.

What and why. If you say yes, Google Analytics counts which pages you visit and what you click, plus rough location, device and browser. I use it only to see what people read, so I know what's worth writing more of. Nothing loads from Google until you say yes. Not used for ads, never sold.

Legal basis. Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act). Saying no changes nothing about what you can read here.

Who processes it. Google processes the data on my behalf as a data processor. Data may be transferred to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Cookies and storage. With your yes, Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_* cookies that last up to 13 months. Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage as analytics-consent, so the question doesn't come back on every page. That needs no consent and never leaves your browser.

Your rights. You can withdraw consent any time with the "Analytics" button at the bottom of every page; it also deletes the analytics cookies. Withdrawing doesn't affect what was counted before. You can ask me for access to or deletion of data about you, and you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
